種種跡象顯示：王建民（Chien-Ming Wang）即將前往休士頓太空人的Minute Maid Park，再度登上大聯盟，代表多倫多藍鳥主投系列戰的第二場球。
首先：原訂今天要為3A Buffalo Bisons出賽主投的王建民，開賽前突然從先發名單被剔除。
然後，從明天開始接連三天（美國時間五、六、日）的藍鳥Vs.太空人系列戰，藍鳥公佈了第一場及第三場的先發投手分別為Todd Redmond及Mark Buehrle，而第二場則標註為TBA（To Be Announced）。
面對這樣的巧合，Toronto Star直接就點名那個即將宣佈的系列賽第二場先發應該就是王建民。
